It involves having a multi-national network for multi-factory supply as well as managing the challenges of freight and shipping.

Sigma Telford Group can provide quotations for the supply and logistical fulfilment of quality products at competitive prices.

We ensure all our stock levels are closely monitored and key product stock holdings are constantly forecasted so our customers can always rely on us to fulfil their needs.

Import, Export & Transport

With access to a global network of manufacturers and distributorships we can source high quality chemicals and raw materials and have them delivered direct to your site, be it in urban or remote Australia or across the world.

Our group partners with experienced international shipping and freight forwarders to ensure all aspects of importing and exporting and freight of products including dangerous goods are done in accordance with International and National Laws.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance

Chemical supply chain management is a complex process that involves the production, transportation, storage and distribution of chemicals (often dangerous goods) which are heavily regulated by constantly changing International and National Laws.

In Australia chemicals that are deemed dangerous goods are further regulated by a complex set of State and National Standards, these apply to everything including:

  • transportation (segregation rules, DG tonnage limits on vehicles, load restraint, vehicle safety equipment);
  • storage (DG tonnage limits, varying distance segregation rules with respect to dangerous goods, liquid bunding storage capacity);
  • distribution (licence to procure and sell, duty to register sales with AICIS).

Sigma Telford Group’s teams deep experience across all areas of regulation and our licences to handle these raw materials means we take the rules and the risks very seriously.

Our work mitigates the inherent risk your business is exposed to when handling these chemicals in your supply chain. We will do everything to make help your business complies with this complex set of rules, regulations and laws.
